| Description | Welcome to the 2023 Off Road Triathlon Festival at the scenic Lochore Meadows country Park hosted by Scurry Events. There are 2 triathlon distances - a full distance and a short distance. The Aquabike is the perfect low impact activity for those averse to running or are injured and unable to run and the Bikeless Lochore Aquathlon offers a 3rd alternative to the mix for those who like to swim and run. For those who wish to miss out on the swim there is also a Duathlon option to choose. The full distance triathlon, Aquabike and Aquathlon all enjoy a 1000 metre swim in the beautiful fresh water of Loch Ore with good safety cover within a friendly swimming environment. The swim will be 2 laps of 500 metres with an Aussie style beach exit after lap 1 to re-enter the swim for lap 2. As this involves open water swimming in Scotland wetsuits are required!
